Performance Art Cinema

As part of Wyn Geleynse's reclaiming downtown London parking lot project this design for a cinema would only be used for cinematic representations of theatre productions or performance art. The reason for this was a result of going to see a 3d film. I became completely distracted by the edits in the film that disrupted the illusion of 3d. With theatre the camera in the original shoot would be stagnant and only the actors and possibly the props and stage sets would move. In this rendering he saddle construction allows for two adjacent theatres with sloping floors. A foyer in the middle acts as a gathering place. The "semi-circular" end walls allow for the projections inside the structure. Each theatre would seat 100 people.
